Sharing my love of Torah with young minds has been a great joy in my life. I have been involved in Jewish education for over 25 years and becoming the B’nai Mitzvah coordinator at Temple Sinai has been a highlight in my own Jewish journey. During the B’nai Mitzvah year, students participate in thePKitah Zayin (7th grade class) in addition to their private tutorials. In both settings the students engage in Torah study, learn the Shabbat morning service, acquire the necessary skills to chant Torah and Haftarah, reflect on their own personal interpretations of Jewish concepts and liturgy, and work together on a class Mitzvah project and the Friday night celebration service at the end of the school year. It is an exciting year of growth and achievement and I am thrilled to be your child’s guide as both Principal and Melamedet (teacher).
