Play is the work of young children. It is through play that children learn and grow. Tikvah's program capitalizes on the natural curiosity of young children by giving them hands-on experiences both inside the classroom and on the playground.
Physical Growth
Providing children with a safe playground in which to run, jump, climb and play.
Intellectual Growth
Through manipulatives, puzzles, arts and crafts, books, music and language.
Emotional Growth
Helping children learn to handle common social situations, such as taking turns, working within groups and developing their first friendships.
Social Growth
Encouraging children to work and play cooperatively, to respect the rights and property of others as well as fostering a sense of independence.
Spiritual Growth
Helping students develop a positive Jewish identity. The program views Judaism as a way of life, so Jewish beliefs and values are seamlessly integrated into the daily activities.
