Rabbi

Avi Levine

Rabbi Levine began his duties, as our Rabbi, on October 16th, 2007.

Rabbi Levine came to the attention of The Interim Search Committee as a result of recommendations from five different Rabbis and we are pleased that Rabbi Levine was able to join us so quickly. We will plan some “Meet the Rabbi” opportunities over the next few weeks, as soon as Rabbi Levine, his wife Linda, who is an attorney, complete their move to Palm Desert. .

Rabbi Levine comes to us with more than eighteen years as the Rabbi of Temple Beth El in Berkeley, followed by nine years service as the Rabbi at Temple Beth Israel in Pomona. Rabbi Levine retired from that position and served most recently as an interim Rabbi at Temple Beth Tikvah, in Roswell Ga.

The Levine’s are parents of three grown children, Yael, Tal, and Tamar.

Cantorial Soloist

Randy Tichauer comes to us as a first time Cantorial Soloist.  Randy has been a professional entertainer for over 30 years and has always had a love for  Jewish Music.  His positive energy and strong tenor voice promises to lift our congregation to new religious heights.
